Newy Nappy Co offers a range of tailored services to help centers achieve sustainable nappy changes - whatever that looks like for you.

Newy Nappy Co is as easy and affordable as disposables! After initial set up and training, staff will be provided with clean pre assembled nappies in various sizes to use, once used they are taken off just like a disposable and placed in the appropriate supplied bin. Once the bin is full, remove the waterproof liner and store in a designated area until collected within 24-48 hours depending on arrangements, where they are replaced with fresh pre assembled nappies, ready to go!

No assembling, no size adjustments, no poop scraping, washing or sorting! Simple, easy, successful – our staff do all the work!

Aside from environmental impact - this is one of the main reasons we started Newy Nappy Co! To make cloth as easy as disposables for educators! We want to change the stigma around cloth and make them the new normal. We provide training, ongoing support and information sheets to staff, so they feel confident to implement new nappy procedures, feeling like it's as simple and easy as disposable.

Newy Nappy Co is dedicated to supporting services to be successful in this simple, cost effective and no-brainer way of significantly reducing their environmental footprint therefore we offer full support before and during implementation. Including

Our full service package aims to be as affordable as supermarket disposable nappies! 
We offer tailored packages to suit every budget and encourage service providers and managers to reach out to discuss their needs and how sustainable nappy changes can actually improve your budgets.
Laundering services are the most affordable way to cloth although we can offer wholesale supplies for services wishing to launder nappies themselves

They shouldn't even notice! Children arrive in disposables and are sent home in a disposable (unless family is also doing cloth at home). Although we ask families to consider a few points;
- Whilst staff are mastering their cloth nappy fit they may experience a few extra leaks – we suggest packing additional outfits for the first few weeks whilst staff nail the fit.
- We encourage families to dress their little ones in looser fitting clothes as cloth nappies are a little bulker than disposables, tight fitting clothing may become uncomfortable.
- As children are changed into disposables when collected, we encourage families to leave a few extra minutes to ensure they have enough time for staff to change nappies before they head out the door.

Our washing processes meet Australian Laundry Industry Standard AS4146:2000, as well as this our nappies are washed twice and sanitized both thermally and chemically to ensure a hygienic and deep clean daily.

Our machines receive a ‘spa day’ once a week where they are thoroughly deep cleaned alongside daily cleaning and sanitization between loads. We also test our machines and nappies weekly/monthly to ensure they are not harboring any nasties.

So you can be double, no triple, no QUADRIPPLE be sure that the nappies you receive are as clean and fresh as their first ever use!

There is nothing in the NSW ECEC regulations that prevent services from utalising cloth nappies, in fact there is nothing in any guiding documents such as the National Quality Framework or Staying Healthy in Childcare etc that even makes cloth nappies harder for services – simply they help guide services in ensuring safe, effective use of cloth nappies. We can help services in developing or updating their policies and procedures.

Our Founder has 14 years in the ECEC sector including regulatory involvement – Engaging with Newy Nappy Co is a unique, effective and amazing way to further meet the NQS, we can even help with QIP development and evidence for A&R and the service approval process.
